Who has heard of this new emerging suburb in Hargeysa district? the forthcoming Beverly hills of Hargeysa.

Horta why do somalis love naming things and places hodan? Who the hell was she?

Hodan , nimco , are names given to girls but it also means heaven ... well not really ...more like how the land looks after it rained
I dunno maybe that neighbourhood has more trees than others , given how people who live in desertic lands are fascinated with greenery or water , if they can find a couple of trees that can provide a good shade , it must be heaven

^^^That's not necessarily true. I remember when I last went to Hargeisa when a servant girl covered the only bit of grass in our garden with sand .

Yeah sxb i heard it, its a new area east hargeisa, near shiraaqle. its very new area, but still growing. i heard some american somalilanders are investing heavily there, i heard one of the biggest hospitals in hargeisa is going to be build there. aparently construction already started. last i knew they were taking investments from ppl at 50k per person, markaa haragwaafi ka gaadh

Shirqaale is bloody near the control f dat so no water iyo waarabo waar Guryosamo is a better investment atleast it has near daily water supply if u got a spare 50 k

they are gonna be running fibre optic accross hargeisa soon, adna biyaad sheegaysaa, thats only matter of time plus guryosamo is too populated and too old

Very informative. Thanks. Planting some Canary Island Date palm trees along the side walks of the roads and pave all the roads well should be part of the wider investment plan for this suburb, to atleast resemble the fine-looking Beverly hills.
