It is people like her with good connections to human rights groups and government agencies and known and respect by the elite in Washington, D.C that are needed to bring human rights abuses in Somalia to the forefront.

Yeah, in this hearing on the Horn of Africa situation she was the only Somali invited to testify at the US Congress. Starting 57:25



And the amazing thing about her is she doesn't sell her values and identity for political connections. Here is the interview on Al Jazeera where Mohamad Abdilahi Oomaar, the former Foreign Minister of TFG basically asked her to return to Somalia now with him because the country desperately needs people like her

Clans within the SSC are considered the bridge and the glue that kept the union of North and South or the Somali state together.

How true of Sadia. Spread the word and bring the movement to important offices.
