I am not against this. I take it a possitive thing that somalis hosted them.

That's impossible. Berbera is a dusty village with a small port. Surely Jews could have done much better.

Opheria a supposed "kingdom" in berbera long time ago had lots of Gold and Jewish merchants. But i see no proof of that myth.

There were many Yemeni jews in Somalia at the beggining of 1900 they didnt stay long because i think the goverment deported them or something. I will find more info wait

Yes they were Yemeni jews most of them moved to Djibouti after the Somai Indipendence
And then on to Isreal after the Djibouti indipence.

What is it with you and your unhealthy fixation with this so-called ''dusty village''? You've even dedicated many posts insulting it, do you attain some sort of strange satisfaction out of that?

@The OP, Berbera has a rich history and was once part of the great Ottoman Empire, it is possible because of this reason and by way of it being an important trade route for centuries that, there may have been some that have passed through.

I cant seem to find much information. BUT there was a Jewish Cementary in Mogadish, that got destroyed in 1993 when the US soldiers were there. It got destroyed by Mooryans.
