All these supposed mistakes are completely taken out of context to appear like mistakes when they are not. Something your friends do with the Quran. A quick google search will make you realise this. For example Darwin had a friend called Thomas Thompton whom he wrote letters to but the guy changes the name to Thomas Thromtan....and says this person didnt exist, when infact Dr Zakir Naik is talking about Thomas Thompton. You can find correspondents between Darwin and Thomas Thompton online. Even with his Indian accent I can tell that he said Thompton and not Thromtan.

This is like when atheist tries to read the Quran with a insincere heart, and try to look for contradictions, and then just presents random verses as contradiction without even understand them. Nice try

The video posted by the thread starter is absolute nonsense. The dude is literally picking at straws. It's not even talking about factual mistakes, Zakir Naik was making general points to further his argument, in retrospect EVEN if he did say them correctly it wouldn't make a difference, his arguments against evolution would still be as valid as ever, he was brushing through.

Lets break down the mistakes and debunk them 1 by 1:

He called the Galapagos Islands by the name Keletropist, this was not a factual mistake, this was clearly a matter of pronouniciation of the same island. Fail

Pecking at niches or living in niches? According to Claudia Metkke Hoffmann, who is amongst the most proficient biologists in Germany, she agrees with Zakir Naik, this is her recount of the birds' actions:
