It's a short film, not a movie. It has won the jury prize at the Sundance Film Festival for short films this year.

All the Somalis who have been cast are Somalis living in Mombasa, Kenya. Most of them Sijuis, but not all.

The young director and two producers had been jailed for a short period in Puntland for entering without a Visa and failing to seek permission to do research for their film.

I don't think this is the same film. The one you're talking about is planned to become a big hollywood blockbuster and I don't know when that one is coming out, probably end of this year or later.

But this one is worth the watch too, especially since it's short.

SK, seems like an interesting film, is it a documentary or an actual film ? I'm still waiting on Tom Hank's pirate movie, they still haven't confirmed a release date. I reckon that film will soar in the box office on its first week.
