JAMESTOWN, N.D. (AP) — A medical examiner testifying in the case of a Jamestown woman accused of killing a man from Somalia said the man had brain injury that would have been fatal even with medical attention.
The Jamestown Sun reports that William Massello testified in the fourth day of testimony in the case of Janelle Cave. The 22-year-old Cave is charged with murder and criminal conspiracy in the death of 18-year-old Abdi Ali Ahmed. His body was found in a ditch near Spiritwood on April 30, 2011. Authorities say he was beaten and stabbed.

Massello said the injuries on both sides of Ahmed's head could have come from two blows or from one blow and Ahmed striking his head as he fell.

A Jamestown man also pleaded not guilty in the case.

lol: walahi the folk that made that documentary are jerks, they made a sad and horrible tragedy into 50% comedy. the ayeyo claiming the "first bullet" was shot by a somali and going crazy. the girl who rolls her eyes whenever she is asked a question by the reporter .... "we know who shot abdinasir (rolling eyes) government name and everything (rolls eyes again)... word on the somali grapevine is that she was practicising her acting skills days before the actual filming of the documentary. then theres the two girls who got tricked into going to jamaica, smuggled fish "marijuana" and are in a jamaica prison for their crme. That documentary was a spectacle. It was trying to show how dysfunctional the somali community is.
