He was treated like Faroole's counterpart. Two flags, two anthems, etc. The whole protocol was like two equal president. I am surprised waxa ku fanaaysid Faroole's marti qaad. Sharif is the president of Somalia. Not a regional partner, he should have been treated better.

You got your head deep down your ass, bro. There is no protocol that was broken. Puntland is entitled to have its own regional flag & leader. There's nothing scandalous here. When Sharif visits districts in Mogadishu, he's welcomed by the district commissioner & both the district flag & Somali Flag are flown together.

This is the flag of Wadajir District in Mogadishu flying right next to the Somali Flag

What's significant of his visit to Garowe is, he marched right into a territory he's extremely opposed from & was yet able to have the entire town welcome him from the airport to the location of the meeting. That's just fantastic if you ask me. When Farole came to Mogadishu, President Sharif did not welcome him at the airport. When Sharif went to Garowe, on both occasions, not just Farole but his entire people welcomed him. That's protocol for you.

Miskiin !!! Shariif came to Garowe as a guest and was welcomed like one , all those people on the street and at the airstrip? They
were present for each and every guest ,as was President Faroole. Here are a few images that illustrate that President Farole extended the EXACT same welcome to
the TFG Prime minister, the former TFG speaker of parliament , an MP from Djibouti and the TFG President

Listen to this idiot  Kulaha when your president came to us we gave him a shitty welcome and when 'my' president came to you, you welcomed him with respect, as if you can be proud of that shit. That's something to be ashamed of nacasyahow dhaadhaanka ah.

You know what we call a person who doesn't treat his guest with the utmost respect according to the tenets of our beautiful Deen? A DOQON DOQON KALE JIRIN.

I dont get why the daaroo kids here get excited when they see sharif and bring faaroole into it.

Logically it makes sense to deal with all somali politicians who are willing to undertake the peace process whoever and where ever they are.Furthermore,we have already enough clan rivalries in somalia which is costing us much interms of recovery and good governce and abgaal and Mj rivalry isnt just pathetic but also meaningless.we should transform these negative rivalries into positive co-operation for the betterment of our country and our mutual interests.

Are you really that thick?

There is a difference between a district flag waving in Wadajir along with the Somali flag. That is equivalent to the Somali flag waving along the PL flag in many parts of PL, nothing strange about that. But the whole protocol of President Sharif visit was strange. I was actually watching an interview with Ali Khalif Galaydh on Somalisat the day before you made this topic. He specifically highlighted this…

Don’t let your proudness of President Sharif overlook the dirty tricks of Faroole

Let me give you some perspective.

TFG = The Faroole Government

Funnily enough, In the recent Garowe conference, the Prime Minister accidentally said "Madaxweynaha Jamhuriyada Somalia Abdirahman Faroole".

Faroole is using Puntland as a braining tool in order to have a greater influence in Villa Somalia. If he doesn’t get what he wants, he threats is to delegitimize TFG.

Have you asked yourself what is going on in Garowe??

The Constitutional Committee (Gudiga Taasturka) was handpicked by Faroole. He has a PM in Villa Somali through which he gets his policies across. He has handed pick several Ministers. Something he couldn’t do while Farjaamo was PM, hence the hostilities and his rejection of the cabinet.

Sheikh Sharif is just a poster boy in Garowe, he is there to sign for some papers Faroole has drafted.
