i am not a big fan of the Sade Monarchy, it wields too little power within Marehan and only has a symbolic role especially in Gedo, it has been like dead skin for the past several decades. the whole Sade elder system is still recuperating from 21 years of Kacaan rule, I was listening to the Garaad in Gedo urging the elders to dust off the old clan structure for reuse, if you have noticed there have been new Suldaans elected all around Sade land late, whether it be Jubbada Hoose, Gedo, Hawd, Galgaduud etc. The newly reestablished Sade council in Galgaduud is also working well, council which over ruled the Ugaas representative in that area has my support. Clan structure has it problems, but sometimes you have to take a step back to move forward, a strong Sade clan structure is exactly what is needed, it will then be up to my generation to take over in 20+ years with a more modern system of government.
