Melchizedek, high priest of Salem (Jerusalem) blessed the victory of Abraham over the kings of Canaan, and received a tithe of a tenth of Abraham's wealth. His God was the God of Abraham, and his altar stood on Mount Moriah, probably on or near the Rock of the Dome.

Mormons make a big deal out of Melchizedek, saying that his priesthood deals with heavenly matters. They have a plot in Jerusalem to build a temple, if and when..... The Armenian Church honors Melchizedek as a saint.

To avoid conflict between the Christian factions in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher (Or the Church of the Anastasis), the gates to Christianity's holiest shrine are opened and closed by two Muslim families and have been for the past thousand years. I find this very amusing.
