Post by abdisamad3 »

how many of you were born in gedo? and if yes what is the best you remember from the place? the best memory I have about gedo is the sabuul fields and the fresh camel/cow milk that was given to me every morning... :D

Where were you born Abdisamad. I was actually born south of Gedo but I did spend about a year and half in Gedo right before we left Somalia. I don't remember drinking milk or seeing corn fields. We lived in the country-side for few months and my brothers and I used to herd goats and eat wild fruits like mareer iyo gob etc.

Are these fruits available in the west? I always hear about Mirro that only grows in the rainy season and I am thinking of perhaps starting a Mirro farm and exporting to the west
