In my said article, I stated, “Not only is it hard to swallow that some of the individuals gearing up for a showdown with Somaliland security forces live in the heart of Canada and U.S., but also these warmongers would slip back to Canada and U.S. without any problems. What is more upsetting is that both Canada and U.S. hypocritically scream about terrorist threats against their nations while they remain oblivious of their citizens fomenting a destructive campaign in Somaliland and elsewhere. “
The time has come. Mr. Ahmed either slipped back to U.S. via Kenya, or he is on his way. If the U.S. is serious about curbing terrorism and stabilizing the Horn of Africa, Mr. Ahmed must be apprehended and handed over to Somaliland authority. • in the past, the PSS (SSC) group admitted—in an audio clip—bombing Somaliland police stations,
• the former Somaliland Foreign Minister, Abdillahi Mohamed Duale, in an interview with the BBC, declared the PSS (SSC) group as a terror network bent to engulf Somaliland into a firestorm,
• in March 2010, the PSS (SSC) leaders Suleman Essa Ahmed, a Somali-American from Columbus, Ohio, and Col. Ali Sabarey, a Somali-Canadian from Toronto, were arrested in Nairobi, Kenya, for terror related charges, but they were freed after the Somali government’s former Foreign Minister Ali Ahmed Jama Jangeli intervened,
• recently, members of Somali MPs held a press conference and warned against the danger of the PSS (SSC) group and its close relationship with Al-Shabaab as well as the current Somali regime’s willingness to arm the PSS group, which further undermine Somaliland’s stability,
• Puntland authority views the PSS (SSC) group as a threat to the region’s stability,
• the Al-Shabaab’s top man, Sheikh Mukhtar Abu Zubeyr known as ( Ahmed Abdi Godane) and the PSS leader, Suleman Essa Ahmed (Hagal tosiye) share one common goal: destabilizing Somaliland to sabotage its quest for independence. Sadly, they also hail from Somaliland, the same country that they want to destroy.
If the U.S. wants to round up Al-Shabaab and other violent groups in Horn of Africa, charity begins at home—Columbus, Ohio. The U.S should clean up its backyard first. Mr. Ahmed and his SSC (PSS) group are deemed a threat to peace and stability in Somaliland and Puntland.

GALKAYO — Puntland Security personnel arrested SSC terrorist commander Yasin Ali Tamaad in the central Somali town of Galkayo where he was a transit on his way back from Mogadishu. Yasin Tamaad is in charge of the military wing of the terrorist group Sool Sanaag and Cayan (SSC) and in the recent days has verbally threatened to attack Somaliland forces when he comes back to the region.

Puntland Security forces arrested Tamaad after he got off a flight from Mogadishu in which he is suspected of receiving funds and weapons from the weak Transition Federal Government of Mogadishu. He was in Mogadishu last several weeks holding talks with members of the TFG and Al Shabab in Mogadishu to solicit funds and weapons.

SSC terrorist group has been battling a guerilla war with Somaliland forces in the past few months and now that the government of Puntland is not in good terms with the weak TFG government of Mogadishu, SSC is seen a threat to Puntland as well.

SSC awdal state is considered a terrorist group by both Somaliland and Puntland governments
