Sisters and brother,
According to your knowledge in Islam. Please si niyad ah iiga jawaaba su'aashan.
1. Two women both of them Somali. One of them wears the Jilbaab, from top to bottom like the Avator of Somalizis. The other do not wear the Jilbaab. Both married with children.
The lady with the Xijaab, lives on welfare, even though her husband can afford to pay her bill. Both her and her husband feed their children with the not Halal money.
The lady without the Xijab works and does not get any "Haram" money,
both she and her husband feed their children with their hard earned income.
Now I am not saying all Xijjab women live on Haram money and all non-xijaab women live on their sweat-earned money.
But this is one example.
Which of these women is closer to Islamic values?
Ilaahay ayaa inaga og laakiin tee ayaa dembiweyn ku jirta????

Bismillah,
This is an old tired question.
Trying to justify a sin by claiming the hijabed ladies commit another sin.
For the fully hijabed lady, I don't think she is committing any sin at all.
The responsibility of feeding and maintaining the family rests with the husband. He is capable and not doing it.
She is forced to resort to welfare.
The man is the problem here not her.Any finance she contributes to the family is charity. It is simply not her bussiness.
Allah says: “Men are the protectors and maintainers of women because of what Allah has preferred one with over the other and because of what they spend to support them from their wealth.†[Sûrah al-Nisâ’: 34]
Her primary duty is the children, the house and modesty. She is doing her part.
For the other lady who does not dress properly and maintains her family.
She looks after her family meaning she is doing her husbands job while failing her duty of dressing modestly.
She has an element of pre Islamic ignorance in her(some say modern trend kafir copying).
The Quran says:
33. And stay in your houses, and do not display yourselves like that of the times of ignorance, and perform As-Salât (IqamâtÂÂasÂÂSalât), and give Zakât and obey Allâh and His Messenger. Allâh wishes only to remove ArÂÂRijs (evil deeds and sins, etc.) from you, O members of the family (of the Prophet SAW), and to purify you with a thorough purification.
I am doing more research anyway.
Allah(subhana wa taala) nows best.

Beards,
Seeftaada galka ayey ka baxsan tahay.!
Sheikhow, is deji. Wax ii qarsoon ma jiraan. Simply this is a case that needs clearity.
I believe that the quran consists of 6666 aaya. And that they are all important. That is all.
Then are you saying, that if a women is married to a drug dealer, but she is not a drug dealer herself even though she enjoys the wealth from the drug, she is innocent? As long as she is wearing the Xijaab? Subxaan Allaah

Beards,
Two things;
1. You did not answer my question. Is the wife of a drug dealer innocent even though she knows her husband feeds the family with that dirty money?
2. You are not in my mind and Only Allaah knows what is in mind. You(Beards) can't know what I want to hear. There was an argument between the two ladies I talked about. I would like to know which one is right.

Bismillah,
You never said anything about drugs first.
This was your statement:
The lady with the Xijaab, lives on welfare, even though her husband can afford to pay her bill. Both her and her husband feed their children with the not Halal money.
What is this drug you bring into the question???
Welfare money is obviously preferable to drug money again.
You just want to find fault with hijabed women. Don't you??

I agree with the fact it's the man's duty to feed his family. But the question is If the husband neglected his responsibility and feed her with dirty money such as welfare and she is well aware of it, isn't she bearing some of the consequences religiously.
She could leave him if she doesn't agree with his life style, in this case not working and feeding her HARAm money.

Thanks Dhaga, you clearfied my question.
Beards,
Again you are trying to read my mind which is wrong. And you are putting words into my mouth.
Let me be clear. I have no problem with Hijab. You do not even know if I am wearing now
Let me tell you what I have a problem with.
1. Wearing the Hijab only is not enough. As I said hundred times. Islam is a way of life. Not just a 10 yard fabric!!!!
2. Camalka qofka ayaan eegayaa oo ii daran. Not gadhkiisu inta uu le'eg yahay ama maradeedu inta ay dheertahay.
3. Receiving welfare fraud is a very big sin. It is stealing. And a theft is a major sin as I understand.
4. All women that are not wearing the Hijab are not lost women. Trust me there are lots of cafiifa God fearing women in them.
5. All hijab wearing women are not God fearing women. Trust me there are lots that are " Ha iga biqine Ila balan".
6. Women has responsibility in Islam. She is not an object who says "I do not care if my Husband is a thief. It is his responsibility to feed me!!!

I am with beards on this, the men are the maintainer of the family it is his job to provide for his family and some men fail to do that out of laziness and others by lacking enough money even when they work long hours the main point is that we need to put a strong focus on is the children if they have any and the women leaves them and put them in the hands of non-Muslims from 9-5 or staying home and taking wellfair which of them is the greater sin? I don’t need to remind everyone what the kuffars teachers the children in the kindergarten about christen holidays, some children easily get sexuality abused in the worst case scenario and who will Allah hold accounted for that? We know how many women get abused when they get out with-out the maintainers of the family, I am talking about rape, assaults ect ect.
If we only look at how many things the women are committing just by getting out the Door just to do some work we would find a great numbers of prohibited things great sins, mixing with men, missing prayer time, shaking hands with men, staying out very late putting ones self at risk, neglecting the children’s rights, neglecting the husbands rights, she might have to compromise her cloth to fit in with righter cloth more colours on the to blend in, she might have a Job where she has to shake hands with men and how about talking with them on every day bases ?
While staying home she won’t find any of these fittnah and her children are saved from all sorts of abuse?
If we really think about it which one is the greater sin? Staying home talking well fair or mixing with men in a non-Muslim societies

i think no one can answer that question, other the almighty. the example you just gave is not enough to determine the closeness of one person to allah.
thats at least what i think.
