U.S Muslims less extremist and more integrated

The Muslim community in America is growing, vibrant, and becoming more and more a part of the American landscape," Ihsan Bagby, one of the authors, told a news conference.
The survey showed that 87 percent of the mosque leaders disagreed with the survey statement that "radicalism and extremism is increasing among Muslim youth -- in their own experience."
More than 98 percent of mosque leaders agreed that Muslims should be involved in American institutions, and 91 percent agreed that Muslims should be involved in politics.

Brilliant news. I hope in 20 years all Muslim communities become like those lovely people on TLC's All-American Muslim.

Any one who claim to be a Muslim yet deliberately distort the teaching of Islam in order to fit it into the US constitution is not a Muslim.

Whatever the act, unless he outrightly states his hatred of Islam and disbelief in it, I don't think it's up to us to judge.

Is not a question of judging the person but rather what they claim they believe in.

He is well known for his views which are anything but Islamic. He come across as someone with an agenda and his blatant misinterpretation and disrespect on the Sunnah and Islamic values speaks volume above his claim of muslimnimo.

Please. I think quite a few of us here take a piss on the Sunnah and Islamic values. Myself included.

Until he publicly states his disbelief, it ain't on us to brand him with apostasy. But perhaps there are other terms. None of which I'm willing to use.
