I personally plan to plant alot of date palm seeds when i go back home inshallah, these plants add a exotic feeling to the envoriment, if there's a city with sand, then there has to be date palm trees agree?

European architecture fits perfectly. And last time i was in Hargeisa, it was only "dusty", because of the lack of battling the desertification. That is why white pants,become yellow after a while in the streets of hargeisa. Planting trees and watering lush areas should be part of architecture, just like Australia wich has many "sandy" areas.

The SDC is developing Hargeisa and attracting foreign investment, if you do not welcome developments in Somali cities then you are not Somali.

Oh and the reason there are similarities is because of lack of infrastructure. Every third-world dump looks the same because of no proper roads, pavements, stret-lighting etc.
