Wallahi, I was walking down the road today and I met a Somali foe, whom I didn't like very much, we both had our spats a few years ago and today we saw each other for the first time.

I was uneasy at first but I nodded at him, next thing you know the Somali brother embraced me. I was shocked. He is like no need to fear my cousin, I am your close cousin I am Marehan, reer dalal the same tribe as you.

I smiled. I didn't know this man's tribe when were at ends and it seemed like all enmity faded away as I embraced him back. After that day we became friends.

Brings me a tear how we use to treat each other when we were ignorant.
