May Allah curse those who invoke the good lords name for a footie.

Wasted dua is haram.

is there such a thing as wasted dua? I was under the impression that you were supposed to ask Allah for everything.

If u think otherwise can you please provide evidence?

Yes there are.

Praying to God for a haram games to go one way is as haram as it gets. With all the things one can pray for today, don't you think praying for a game that brings no benefits to you is Haram and at best wasted?

Prayers were meant to benefit one but what benefit does praying for a footie brings you?

soccer is haraam? Daliil please

You still haven't brought any sort of daliil, can you bring daliil that says u shouldn't pray for things, or there are wasted dua's?

Soccer in itself is not haram but the level obsession people have for the game surely is haram. I am sure people don't get as upset if they miss a prayer as when their beloved team loose a game.

You can make dua' for anything as long as its halaal. Cursing isn't good though, it might return on you even :|
