Re: what are the reasons of mugadisho becoming the capital?
my thinking is if it was not reer muwalad it had never become the somali capital. in the arab historical books there were only mentioned mogadisho and marka, zaila and harar all of them had arab populations. imagin if there were in that era, in the 12 century, such a populated towns like hargaysa, garoowe, baydhaba, baladwayne and galkacyo, then one of them would have been able to become the capital. why not then? because we were just a roaring nomads in search of more grasslands......... now to the point, you understand what is wrong with the snetters mentalitiy..... because we have found now our own cities, evry thing is new to us..... how many of us thier grandprents had used toilets? ...... and we still uncivilised...... maybe our grandchildren would be good at life.
