Me and my cousin got arrested in kenya for walking around 11pm, wallahi i was shitting it, luckily my cousin could speak basic swahili and it turns out all they wanted was a bit of bribe money. africa is corrupt to the core

I was driving down this street in Hargeisa around 10pm...There was a check point..My cousin told me not to stop but me been proper I stopped(which I regretted till this day)...He asked me for my driver license..I gave him my Ohio State driving license...The man never seen such a sophisticated ID...He looked and looked...And then he moved away from my car with his partner in crime....I knew by then that they were conspiring to threaten me with arrest so I cough up some serious cash...My cousin(local kid) was furious of why I stopped and didnt plough through them like all the other cars were doing...So they came back to us and were like "you guys are coming with us to the central prison station"...Thats when we started the negotiation...at first I offered them something like 10,000 shillings..They abruptly refused...So I offered them 15,000 and they still refused...Then finally they accepted 28,000 shillings...Are you wondering how much that is..LOOOOOL....like about 4 and half dollars....

I was driving a Granada(only can be found in Somalia and the middle east)....
