Re: Lughaye State to be recognized soon.
I think this a valuable topic...... a matter of democracy!
speaking as a proud native of Khaatumo State of Somalia, I applaud the efforts of the northern Somali regions, to express their desire to remain Somali.
The premise that "somalilands" bid for independence is based upon, is self-determination and democracy.
Every northern Somali region must have the right to determine they`re own destiny. Whether they choose the path of secession or unity must be they`re own free choices.
I believe if the peoples of the northern Somali regions were able to hold a free and fair referendum on secession, they would vote for unity in huge and overwhelming numbers.
All the the regions of northern Somalia must be recognised by the Transnational Federal Government/ Transnational Federal Parliament, before they`re terms expire in August.
It should be the Somali government official position as a basis for beginning talks with the want-away north, that every citizen of northern Somalia have the right to freedom of expression and association.
