Somalia should implement forced military service

To many lazy dumbass men not working in Somalia, if Somalia wants to employ men while at the same time evolve into a well respected military far beyond the scope of Ugandan auspices they must undertake this drastic measure. If I were president not only shall I extend this 2 yr combat training to all Somali men on the ground. I shall extend this to all diaspora men who wish to gain Somali citizenry. That way we can defend our borders from the ever-diabolical Meles and exercise our due sovereignty.

Instead of concentrating on clan skirmishes, bedoins will now have the opportunity to work for their country.

I think Somalia does indeed practice conscription.

It did, that much I know. My aunt says she can still field strip a rifle. But I don't see how it still can, given circumstances.

Conscription is fine in certain situations. For example: Norway and Finland still do conscription. But they don't go around building unnecessarily large armies to intimidate other nations and invade foreign lands. Conscription used correctly is fine and encouraged.

But conscription is used in an evil way.
