As Silanyo fires 7 members from his cabinet and puts in 8 new members, what does it signify? As corruption investigations continue, Gurti not happy how he has dealt with Dhulbahante, and tribal tensions within isaaq. How is this change in Silanyo's administration going to change the politics on the ground. Who is he putting up, and what is responding to? Is this a sign of admitting to failures, and a need to pursue a new course?

According to Somaliareport, silanyo gave no actual reason for the reshuffling of his cabinent, but someone "close" to the President said it was because of a lack of "talent".

 I don't get the hostility, of me just asking questions. All I want to understand is Silaanyo, and what kind of president here. I have not insulted, nor defamed him in anyway. I have just read some news and want to understand it, from Somalilanders. I don't want the destruction of Somaliland, and this is hardly news to consider the destruction of Somaliland.

Silaanyo has reshuffled his ministers twice before, and this being the third and largest time. What is Silanyo not happy about, and why is he doing this?

PO , I really dunno man , the chairman is his own man , he's fired my first "uncle " who was the highest general in the military replaced him with another guy from our tribal family only to fire that guy too after having served for 3 months .
I don't really understand the chairman at times , but there's really nothing i can do about it

loool @ sahan

Thug, calm down, about seeking my true intentions. I don't have any real affect on what happens on the ground.

this is from Somaliareport, where I got this article and came here.
Although, the president did not state his reasons for firing the ministers, sources indicate that the president was angered by the "lack of talent" in his cabinet.

This is the third time that Silanyo has reshuffled his cabinet since he was elected in June 2010, but it marks his largest shake up to date.

I never saw 'SomaliaReport' as a reliable source so not sure of the 'lack of talent' bit. But for whatever reasons that Siilaanyo replaced them for,I hope they were good.

It's one of the most reliable sites out there.

But as for the reason, it's only speculation, unless someone close comes out and says it publicly or silaanyo says it.
