first the somali name dates back in the 15 century, even the hawiye name is more ancient since you can find it in the arab works of the 12 century like al idrisi or in other works that dates back in the 13 century besides it was again mentioned in the futuh al habasha in a parallel line with the name somali.
we dont speak semitic so we cant be part of the abyssinian nation. let alone the arab historical names, just imagin, how many names are in the hadith books, how many habasha names were happening or existing before abraha, among the muslims, the name of their king al ashram najashi, their capital aksum, the names in the abyssinian culture about 200 kings that dates back to the king of solomon.
the difference is one has the imperial character like the egyptians and abyssinians and this gives them a sense of self important and lasting influence on the others who will stay forever as the same pieces.
the most ancient somali person.
