Interesting. It wasn't oil alone. There was an element of religion to it as well.

People get angry when I say that nationalism is for losers, but its true. This fake sense of nationalism has cost Somalis everything, I hope people can grow out of it and begin to accord themselves in a mature manner that is in step with the rest of the world.
