OMG I HAVE TO COOK WTF

Post by SultanOrder »

So I am cooking a hardy stew, comprised of meat and chicken. With a side of rice.

The stew will be:
Hilib
chicken
Potatoes
Carrots
Garrolic
Onions
and Some Tomatoes

The rice will be just plain white rice. Since my cooking skills are limited to just plain rice.

I plan to first saute the main ingredients in olive oil until the meat is nicely cooked on the outside, and the vegetables are golden brown. At which point I will add a can of chopped tomatoes with out the water. After that is nicely done, I will add the tomatoes' water. then I will let that simmer until it is perfectly done adding salt to taste.

Then I will cook the rice as a side.

Wish me luck everyone.

Beef and chicken can't cook in the same pot. They cook at different temps for different durations. Cook em separately and then add em in. Also, raw chicken isn't a good mix with anything else.

Good luck  ... or is it already done?

Also, adding chicken soup base/dadaboroodo/whatever else it's called to rice, gives it that "Somaliness" you might be looking for.
