This is how fires start
This is why we keep hearing about fires in important commercial areas. Remember the ones in Bosasso market and Xamarweyne?

Back around 2000 - 2001 I remember one of the tel companies (I think it was Olympic) laying pipes underneath roads for telephone lines in Madina and other districts. The same could have been done for electricity but it needs a government to fund it or a rich, powerful private power company to invest in such project, that's if they are contracted to take control of Mogadishu's electricity, or at least most of it coz such task will cost a lot of money.
