Yea. It's one of the districts that escaped the mayhem of the civil war. Most of it is untouched by the civil war.

As in anywhere else, politicians are always a target & Mogadishu is not different. But we had a Dir MP that used to come to our house unescorted & unarmed & he used to take the public bus.

Airport area, KM4, Suuqa Bakaaraha & Suuq Bacaad, Liido area are the more commercially expensive parts of town. In all of these areas properties in the millions of USD is not unheard of.

Yea, that's Mogadishu & it's reasonably safe.

Prices depend on location & size.
