A Pakistani one occasionally, all the girls redo their make up right after prayers and most of the women don't wear hijab or put a scarf on their heads while showing half their hair.Alphanumeric wrote:What kinda mosque do you usually attend?
Hmm, can't think of a Pakistani masjid in this city where the girls might do that. The ones I've seen are usually pretty conservative. The Caribbean community is very relaxed, in that regard.Sealion wrote:A Pakistani one occasionally, all the girls redo their make up right after prayers and most of the women don't wear hijab or put a scarf on their heads while showing half their hair.Alphanumeric wrote:What kinda mosque do you usually attend?![]()

Yup. Qabiil even comes into play with masjids here.hyperactive wrote:even masjid ka ma qolo walba masjid bey leeyehen?

New beginning, new start for someone who has finally seen the light.Alhadaaya mina Allah.Alphanumeric wrote:^why would that be her next step? What steps is she taking?

Are you asking which one I pray in? Personally, it doesn't matter to me, at all. I've prayed in probably close to 30 masjids in and around the city. Somalis only have a handful. It's rather depressing knowing that the administrations split because of qabiil and power sharing bs. This happens in the Indo-Pak community as well.hyperactive wrote:inallilah! marba ke e dow ban ko tokada. hardly know any one. i pray and leave and that what most people do where im.
I think a new start is a simple start. Small steps are important.salool wrote:New beginning, new start for someone who has finally seen the light.Alhadaaya mina Allah.Alphanumeric wrote:^why would that be her next step? What steps is she taking?
