I just learned from watching this live event that one of the injured politicians from theatre bombing had died in Nairobi hospital.

1. $350, 000 worth of sports equipment is headed to Xamar in a container.

2. Tarsan, Sheikh Ali and friends have created over 1000 jobs for the IDPs in Xamar.

3. Minnesotans have pledged to build a school in the capital

That's quite pleasant. One thing is quite certain, Mogadishu will transform in the next 6 months to year and half, inshallah. A group of Turkish and Somali businessmen have signed a deal to renovate and rebuild the hotels around Liida Beach and invest in commercial farming in the Shabelle Regions. Reer Banadir are going through exciting times and the money is trickling in quite nicely. All we need to do is consolidate the peace and work towards making this new found peace sustainable, inshallah.

They should cut out all the middle-men, if there are any, to deliver that promised money. Plus, it would be better if they focus certain important infrastructure, like roads & rebuilding the main government departments i.e. old ministry buildings etc (not that they can do a fracture of that immense work with the money collected from this event but in general I mean).

It's a very difficult job from the 2 decades of ruin marka Ilaah ha fududeeyo!
