Did you realise that there were some somali words in that video? Or is it my eyes that is betraying me? I think I saw "guddi" and another word.

I see. So, are you saying that already in 1963, there was a movement to write the somali language?
P.s. have you got a video of Abdirashid Ali Sharmaake's or Cigaal's speech in Tanzania on the NFD?

Did you realise that somalis were more handsome and beautiful then?
Naagaha dhexhdooda yariis, ilko saqaf ah oo saabuun la mariyey, luqun dheer sida geriga...
Nowadays all you meet is a rounded shorty with excess luggage in her rear and decaying teeth.

Haa body lotion; dadka jirkooda ayaay dishaa. In the good old days people used water; naagaha uunsi. When uunsi meets sweat a wonderful odour is created. Nowadays, people used unnatural things everywhere. BLV inadeer gabdhaha marsada Lipstick waa lala yaabi jirey (people used to think they had herpes (biijo). Nowadays even men use Lipstick. Odeygow laigu yiri adeerkaaga waaye oo baadiye ka yimid ayaa la i baray; in the spirit of the good old days, I bought him a winter jacket, shoes and a lipstick; markaasu i weydiyey; waxaan ku iri adeer afka ayaa la marsadaa; Markaasu intuu tuuray kor u yiri " Najis, najis dhalay ma waxaad dooneeysaa inaan ku istiimo! Ballo kugu dhacday ma naag baad i moodey"

A beloved child has many names ( A norwegian proverb). I thought it was called a lipstick. You are right. If you don't wear it, you might destroy your lips.
