Somalia ---- a nations of extremes. A couple of years ago they had Ayaan Hirsi and now Ina Godane. Just a reflection of the chasm within our society I guess.

Is this supposed to be a joke? Top 100 influential people in the world? They don't even have a picture of Godane. It's a drawing

I like to believe that ina godane or - as I like to call him - Somali Keyser Soze doesn't exist. He's just a myth cooked up by the fat cats of alshabab so that no one could ever say they killed the leader of alshabab.

i vote for ina godane to be new president of SL

When I look at the rest of the list, he deffo more influential then most of the people on the top 100 list.

yea that's cause no one really knows how he looks like? Do you think that he shouldn't be on the list.

Abdi there's a guy who lives by me that used to live next door to him in Hrgeisa b4 he "Godane" joined SNM in the mid 80s

This man has achieved more world recognition than the whole state of Somaliland.

Everybody's got a story about him. I know a guy whose cousin knows a woman who served ina godane tea once.

SNM? It says he's 34 on the website. Wouldn't he be too young to fight in those wars.

The guy I'm talking about is family sxb and has no reason to lie he is 39 and says Godane was a year older
But hey I'm not trying to convince you of anything it's a well known fact both Afghani and Godane were SNM

^ So he joined SNM when they were 12-13?, if it was mid 1980s. What I widely read about Godane is that he studied in pakistan, and used to work for xawalado.
