Ethiopians are definitely more law-abiding than the Somalis due to the thousands of years that they were ruled by successive Ethiopian kings. Not only Ethiopians, but Egyptians, Persians, Indians, and Greeks all fit in that category. We, Somalis, don't like dictation and strict rules from authorities, and this is one of our own undoings in these trying times.

Patience is another thing that is going for them. While we--Somalis--repel quickly when we see something we don't like, highlander Ethiopians have the patience to wait for a situation to fix itself even if he/she is not happy about it.
