Don't you guys know how much it costs to puy this kind of war planes? Even if Somaliland could for mysterious reasons afford to buy one, who on earth is going to sell to us? May be we should smuggle it from North korea . I mean unless the arms embargo on Somalia and Somaliland is lifted there is no way we could legally puy a simple AK47 let alone those kind of sophisticated weapons. Thats why president Siilaanyo and President Sharif are both pushing for a lift of the embargo.

arms embargo..    You really take that serious saaxib. If you can't do it legally, you can always do it Illegally. That is why they have rules, because they are meant to be broken.

Saracen international has implemented training program for Puntland anti piracy force aka Puntland marines funded by the UAE. They trained batch of about 1200 strong force and armed them to the teeth all under the nose of the so call UN embargo, yet by the time UN found out their activity, the program was already set and completed. The UN is a joke sxb waxba haka sugin kuwaas..

The thing is Somaliland can and has enough assets to cover everything listed in that article. Gurey, myself and others have already discuss this to death and have established that when it comes to weapons, it's buyers market. If somaliland is willing to spend money to drastically strengthen its armed forces it can do so even despite weapons embargo.

As far as the article goes, I'm not convinced . It smells like a rumor to me. I have sent an email to the author of the piece Muse ali and requested the source of this information. I'm still awaiting a response.

ps. refer to posts in past where we discussed infinite ways to bypass Arms embargoes. It's special thread in the private viewing. ;)
