We have bigger plans.
Eaglehawk: Do you believe "Jubbaland" should seek international recognition like Somaliland and if so, how do you think you will go about it? How would you acheive what Somaliland couldn't for 20 some odd years.

What are you so excited about?
How do you feel about Puntland being an obstacle to your dreams?

Well I believe that jubaland will get its independence not because we are seeking it’s because the world wants to keep Somalia away from the new oil corridor which is from south sudan to Kenya and from Ethiopia to lamu port, so a jubland that serves as buffer state between the chaos of Somalia and the new Kenya, Sudan trainable is what policy makers are thinking about.
All we have to do is just enter the Jetstream
As for Somaliland, there is absolutely notting that they are offering to the world apart from we are peaceful, every nation in this world considere somaliand a investment not worth making.
Even Ethiopia doesn`t want to be seen publicaly advocating for Somaliland independence.
We jubaland will go about systematically and micromanage it from behind the scenes before we go public
We only have to nullify the anglo italian treaty of1924 and reframe it under the principle self-determination
The isaaq have used their card of self determination when they requested freely to join italia Somalia in 1960..OUCH!
I wrote this in a previous thread
Our concept for jubaland sovereignty is based on popular sovereignty which is the “principle that the legitimacy of the state is created and sustained by the will or consent of its people”
We are the majority so attaining that criteria is self-evident., of course with the principles of majority rule and minority right Earmarked into it.
Our second concept in the process of state formation is monopoly on the use of force as Max Weber defined it:
The state is that entity which upholds the claim to the monopoly of the legitimate use of physical force in the enforcement of its order
amila I promise jubaland will be independent and a hawiye will sign it off thats why we never determinant our hawiye connection, we have as much influence over somali tribes as international we can translate our international projects localy
its all about giving people incentives
I remember when faysal ali warabe said 2 a a child a born in adis ababa is closer to me then the one born in mogadishu" OUCH!
and now the world said talk to the TFG, good lord that hurts

Talking to the TFG doesn't mean endorsing a re-Union with Somalia , it means just that , 'talking" to the head of the government in Somalia .
Some people in here are defined by a clear disorder / unbalance as far as they thought processing goes .
I call it dooroitus , most people hate me for pointing that out, sorry eh ?

Classic oxymoron line
Declaration of independence doesn`t constitute De jure rule of all former British somaliland protector nor did Somalia relinquish its northern territory
You have defacto rule over isaaq territory which constitutes notting more then tribal governance among the faction in Somalia
Afrikaan waka aqli lix saac
Iska hadlow ina igare comes to mind
You don`t even meet the 2 basic criteria’s of state hood which are Social contract and monopoly on the use of force.
