Which one
Would you marry someone knowking that this relationship won't last for that long( 4 years max), or would you get into a marriage that you know would last for life?
Re: Which one
Latter one sounds reasonable, why you ask ?

Re: Which one
hah? what type of question is that, of course with someone you think the marriage will last forever unless the woman is super hot.daiman wrote:Would you marry someone knowking that this relationship won't last for that long( 4 years max), or would you get into a marriage that you know would last for life?

Re: Which one
I asked because I need to know. The second one is marrying someone that you do not like at all( may be a little) but you know will stay with you, but the first involves jeclaansho, but it can be short-lived ( not for that long. Just prediction).

Re: Which one
Sometimes people marry someone they do not like for some reasons. May be the person likes you, is a good person, kind etc.
but sometimes you meet someone that you want to be with ( and blind to everything else about that person), but from what people are telling you that marriage cannot last for that long.
No-one likes divorce so you compare the two marriages. The you got mad

Re: Which one
Like a contracted marriage that expires after 4 years? Interesting.
Re: Which one
some people just missed the point completely on what the original poster asked....
1) would you marry someone you are not attracted to... but know for sure can build a life long marriage with.
2) someone you are infatuated with but cant predict the future with... i.e it may be temporary or forever, just roll the dice.
me, I am taking my chances with 2... love tends to bond people together... I wouldn't marry that person per se.... but i would give it a chance.

Yes, this is exactly what I meant. You cannot predict the future but you are infatuated with the person.
Re: Which one
Yes. I've read thousands of books over the course of my life. Many books that had a nice cover and fonts, I couldn't read past the first chapter due to storyline, plot, content, etc. Many other books that had worn cover and bad fonts, I read them, with some re-reading again. Many of the latter surprised me. There were a few that had both nice cover/fonts and storyline. I guess the same applies to marrying someone.abduljrus wrote:1) would you marry someone you are not attracted to...

Re: Which one
Yess, Arabman but you would not look at the book if there was another book more appealling next to it, right?
the thing is there are people who are nice and kind and you enjoy their company, but you feel marrying them would put you in a state of longing (for another life), and as a woman it can be hard to look at other people once you are married.
