I think religion is not a.determinant but its definitely a factor. Look at it this way we are taught by our beautiful religion to be clean at all times so religion does have something to do with it.

it has a lot to do lama. cleanness has to do with being a muslim practicing. i know i have to pray 5 times, be clean from nijaaso (haar, kaadi..etc) so i make sure im very clean when i stand in front of Allah. so person who follows islam, has to be clean.

and i know i should not go to mosque when i eat garlic/onion or any food that smells , that may bother other masjid goers.

Almost every religion on earth teaches its followers that it is the best religion in terms of everything (including hygien). Smell is controlled by hormones, diet and other biological factors.

These are the kind of statements that muslims should avoid. Claiming moral/spiritual supremacy is one thing but laying claim to eugenics is another thing. Eugenics is antithesis to the tenets of islam.

Hyper, we have to be careful here adeer. You and I as muslims know we are clean but we should avoid claiming that followers of other religions are dirty.
