I was just wondering, do you guys really wear this at home or is this just common for the Somalis back home?! Also, do you usually wear boxers or briefs underneath it? I heard you're not supposed to.

I can't sleep without a macawiis and I can't sleep with a shirt on,
it's the most comfortable clothes invented my man thus far.

I have 4 different kinds in different colours and designs no wonder the men at the somali mall looked shocked when I got it

Yes I do! I have 2 Macawees at home on is a Simple one I sleep with and the other one is more expensive I usually wear when I chill at home.

Ofcourse we wear it. I've been wearing then for 12 years now and yes, its true that you don't wear anything underneath it.

When I wear it its literary the only piece of clothing on my body, sometimes I might wear sox when walking around the house.
