So how are they outlined? I heard something about the head of the port being fired by Sharif but Abdiweli wants him back.

But where are the powers drawn for these two positions? If this is a parliamentary sytem, shouldn't the PM be the Head of Government and the President be Head of State serving in a more ceremonial role? Or is this a republic where the President is both head of state and head of government?

Its a semi-dictatorship, the parliament is completely sidelined, the president shuffles the ministers, sings states into existence (khatuumo) and divides gobols in half unilateraly.

Since its too late to change PM, both shariif and abdiwali are positioning themselves for post-transition.

I tried to argue this to death.

But no one in the present TFG really knows the roles of their positions and powers and there are no institutions to hold them accountable.

every six months or so the President, PM or Speaker get in a fight and one of them has to be replaced. U gotta love the TFG. System is built not to work, keep eternal strife
