You know I aint gonna lie......I have wondered myself before if there really is a god. I sometimes can't help notice that everything I observe, or everything we know about the world, I see a cause and effect -- nothing mysterious or magical. Only when I think deeply about the universe and our origins or aspects of prophet Muhammads(pbuh) life is my faith affirmed.

And I refuse to believe I am alone, I'm sure everyone has had these thoughts at some point in there lives. One thing I realised in the Muslim community (especailly somali) is that it is absolutely taboo to question any aspect of religion -- it would be suicide to so. I think this is the leading cause of apostasy, as this leads people to keep secret doubts they are unable to clear for many many years untill they finally lose faith altogether.

Never said occasioanlly, but I've had my moments. Yes I certainly could do with a boost of iman, been planning to buy some Islamic books -- probably Tariq Ramadan or something, any suggestions? Don't want anything hardcore.
