And I thought it was just on the oil front the brother kept us in the dark; Must've known all along that it was a matter of time before Faroole bounced on the bitch.Turkey only became involved in Somalia when their US/EU masters made them aware about the TFG and resources. Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and Emiratis have been active in Somalia much longer, even poor Yemen has done more for Somalis than anyone else.
Fuck Turkey and their fake charity. These faggots were gone for 20 years and they come when Somalis (Puntland especially) gets its shit together at the highest level, acting like their charity is genuine. Only a blind donkey can fall for that trick.
Contracts should go to Korea & Japan, this should be about business. And I'm sure Puntland is ahead of the situation; Turkey should build their orphanages and shit in Xamar, Puntland is a place of business and Turkey doesn't bring real business to Somalia.
Wallahi Japan has been helping Somalis for decades on building important institutions, they are my #1 choice along with Korea.

Why are you so friendly towards Ethiopia but hostile towards Turkey?

We should award contracts based on who has most to offer to us in the future and not who offered us most in the past.
Business is business, and in this case neither the Japanse/Koreans nor the Turkish deserve special treatment as of yet.
Puntland needs to be wined and dined first before it can make its decision.

Re: Monk-of-Mogadishu on Turkey
For one Ethiopia is not the one which chose to shun other regional stakeholders by dealing with Somaliland like it's another country. I guess this is something you welcome as long as Khatumo is invited... you do know that the minute Galayr and the rest of the condoms take their fat arse's over there you've manage to seal your fate, but why should you be concern since you have nothing to lose if both Somaliland and Shariif's constituents win. You might not see making the usual rounds in both Mogadishu and Harigayso a problem but we do once the conference ends.Executive wrote:Why are you so friendly towards Ethiopia but hostile towards Turkey?
Turkey made a reckless move first on how it appropriated its funds and just recently on how it decided to approach Somaliland bypass other regional stakeholder.
Just do us a favor and shut the fuuck up, and watch what happens in the coming days. Nobody push Puntland to a corner and walks away unscathed; they must've not taking notes in both Kampala and just recently in Addis Ababa where all the signatories were summoned.

Re: Monk-of-Mogadishu on Turkey
If you believe in
Sharif is your president and Faroole is a region governor. If you dont believe in
Then Faroole is your president and your region does not wish to be part of Somalia.
What you cant do is play on both sides of the fence. To have a region with it's own flag and president that wants dictate terms to a country it claims its part of, wont work. ...
It was only a matter of time before your double dealing caught up with you guys...

Re: Monk-of-Mogadishu on Turkey
Turkey seems like another Egypt. Instead of facilitating and mediating between all the stakeholders they favor some over others

Lets say Somaliland agreed to become a federal state under Somalia, and there were proven oil reserves in your region, would you give control of your resources to the central government?skywalker25 wrote:If you believe inSharif is your president and Faroole is a region governor. I don't know about everyone else but the war was a lesson learnt for us, and we're happy being confined to our desert regions.
