Hello folks. Anyone been lately to the infamous Somali hotels in Dubai, basically from somnet search says, there is Juba, goldstar, al jazeera and perhaps few others. Anyone recommend any of these hotels for a short term stay. How is the service in these hotels. I mean I am assuming there is a room service and all rooms have minibars.

How receptive are the Somalis and others there to alcohol. Does the hotel restaurant/bar offer beers, gin, vodkas etc? Are these hotels located in safe, decent, bar centric area of the city.

Most of all are these hotels women friendly or will I be kicked out if I bring a foreign broad late at night to my room.

Do tell Somalis or at least recommend a decent hotel I can stay in or apartment hotels. Price hopefully should not exceed usd50 per night for a decent shack and not b&b dumpster.

Got a place via google on Mirdiff, Dubai. How well is this place located. Is it central....How accessible is it....I think the place looks decent albeit its steep usd 90 dollar price tag... It is an apartment hotel.

1,000 $ for a 3 bedroom suite with balcony and beds., and it's by the beach.

Somali hotels u mentioned in the 1st post are no go. Their niche market is somalis who are straight out of somalia and dnt complain about mediocre services, bad sanitation, etc. I saw roaches in one of them and took pictures. U can find reasonably priced much better hotels in Dubai. Sometimes u get discount if u book a room when buying the airline ticket.

Abuukar dude I am only there for three nights. Besides two working morning(4hr each) I am pretty much to explore the city. Was thinking of visiting the beaches, malls for a little shopping, the gold markets, museum to see the old city. Last but not least decent bars/lounges to get tail although from what I hear and am told Dubai is pretty much pay for play.. Maybe those there or who have been to the place can tell me if it is easy to score a tail there with decent charm and game.

Waryaa thanks bro.. Any particular hotel you recommend.

The place I found has good reviews. The only problem is I have no idea where Mirdiff is and how proximal it is to the action zones. Do tell guys. Thanks.

DId another online research and found out Ibis on Rigga road is offering decent price. Is rigga road area in dubai with plenty of bars and eating place. I will definitely visit Sheikh Zayed too but is Rigga considered like the ghetto of the city. How is it compared to Midriff as I got a place there too... Do tell Dubai people.

Tightrope, actually I am told they have sunday brunch in one of dubai hotels with a bacon buffet.
