My dear cousins

Post by SahanGalbeed »

Aslama calekum wa raxmatulla .
Another controversial story again today with your permission :lol:

In the Somali society of our ancestors there was and still is I believe different classes of people .
First the tribal leaders .
You had the warriors { waranle}
You had the religious { wadaad}
You had the blacksmiths and the "deemed " lower class .
And then in the South they had the descendants of the slaves .

Thank God , our society is progressing towards a greater equality among all .
However in my opinion , if the "religious" brainwash the warriors you get Saudi Arabia :lol:
I believe we need to keep a constant eye on the "religious".
What do you think ?

W/salam
I hope I understand this thread.
First you are explaining the different classes of people. Then you explaining your concern that one class will influence another class?

We should keep an eye on people with extreme views that can influence young man from becoming “extreme warriors” . I think the people who are usually attracted to these types ideas are people have hopelessness and frustration. I think away of preventing this attraction is by keeping the younger generation educated and employed.

I'm more worried of western and Ethiopian influence in Somaliland might lead to more progressive(liberal) way of life which means we will become a society that is tolerant towards homosexuality iyo waxii anshax xumo ah ee Bin Adamku ku fakari karo.

This is my main concern.

Somalistan , cousin , I am not advocating homosexuality here but can you remind me where a band of homos have tried to overtake a country in recent history ? :lol:

I have nothing against the religious group , they just need to remain in their space .
