The legendary Qasim Hilowle passed the baton to his very talented late Fadumo Qasim Hilowle (may allah bless her soul) who died last year and now her two champion sons have been at the helm of Somali fanka for the last several years.

These guys have monopolised somali music-making and made it a karaama family owned and operated only business. Is there any Somali song that has come out in the last ten years in which Mustaf or Maxamed aren't the music makers? Maybe 1 or 2 or 3 by bashiir hanuuniye but these guys are on the top.
