A blood smeared dress and guests covered in stab wounds is any bride’s worst nightmare. Being dubbed a ‘Bride-zilla’ is even worse.
But not for this woman, who renewed her vows to her husband dressed up as a zombie.
Misty and Mike Leonida took an unconventional approach to reaffirming their wedding vows, opting to swear ‘til death and beyond’ dressed as the living undead.

Guests joined in with their fantasy, covering their faces in gruesome make-up, and getting into the ‘spirit’ of things.
‘Any excuse to dress up and look crazy, act crazy is a good time’ one wedding guest told CBS Minnesota, grinning emphatically.
Like true zombies the party assembled in a rambling field, breaking away from all traditions and conventions.
A green-speckled reverend performed their reaffirmation, six years after their first, addressing attendees through a megaphone, reading off his script from a sheet of paper.
They then danced their first dance to Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’.
And the wedding procession was just as unusual, with a blood-thirsty bar crawl down west Seventh Street in St. Paul.
Guests’ facial decorations ranged from luminous eyeballs, to scabbing skin, fake blood dripping from their chins, to lurid green pimples and of course, blood-stained lips.
Both Misty and Mike work at ValleyScare as characters in The Asylum so they are accustomed to playing dead.
Misty’s pure-white dress bore hand-print on the rear and the low cut front showed off a deep, rotting flesh wound near her neck. All painted on, of course.
Adding a feminine touch her backcombed hair was topped with a large bow.
Mike’s outfit consisted of a diaper, an open white shirt, on top of a black vest, and a black sleeveless jacket.
