So then it dawned on me that all those Sudanese people I've met in the past who I assumed were from the South because they looked African to me, were actually from the "Arab" North!!

I watch their TV a lot (mainly for the fashion, their ladies dress beautiful) and they do have a lot of 'madow' looking ones, so to put. Though, they also have very East African looking ones, some mixed with Arabs etc. It is a big country, that's why they have such variety of looks.WestLdnShawty wrote:On average North Sudanese look more 'madow' than Horners IMO..![]()

I don't believe they are really Arabs, if that was the case the whole of East Africa would be, but in their defence, the 'Arab' is the one who speaks it, and North Sudan definitely qualifies.

Since you are darood and you are in this topic, do you think of yourself as an Arab?Conqueror wrote:The only reason you never knew how North Sudanese looked like it because they don't look like Hutus. The Northern Sudanese people have a lot in common with the Daarods in East Africa, their looks, their religious practices and their God-given gift to form and maintain Dawladnimo.
