When someone dies is like their batteries have been removed out of them.. Your talking, walking, moving etc and then all of suddenly your not moving, functioning, alive. You come in to this world in a hard condition and you exit in painful hard condition..

Also do you ever wonder how you will die? In bed, car accident, shot, cancer, cut to pieces in a freak accident... The angel of death needs an excuse to kill you

yeah i go to graves twice a week if not more . just tell them salams and just to humble myself. i go around read the names and some times i water the graves. i also talk to them.

There is an ayah that is read over the dead person as he or she is takig to the grave. SOmething like the naft that talked endlessly ...cannot talk today.

I think about death. Sometimes when I go to the mosque I meet old women who are just preparing their deaths in the way they are talking about going to the hajj stuff. But for me, what is most scarry is the old age. I do not know why. Whenever I see or work with elderly people it just makes life shorter and meaningless.

Aniga waan ka baqa habeenka, lakin if its day time sure, once when i was back home in Hargeisa i went out to the country side with my father and brothers, we saw the tomb that belonged to Sheikh Yusuf Al-Kownyani, and it had so much graves outside everywhere, we paid salams to every each one.

There was a time when my fear of death was a little overboard.. But I think I can say I aint scared of dying no more..

I hope my death is quick though.. I wouldn't want to go through long suffering..
I'll probably get run over by a double decker bus or a train..

I remember coming across a Arab poem a few years ago that goes something like...
When you were born you were crying iyo screaming while those around you were laughing and grinning.. Lets hope when you die you are the one laughing and grinning while those around you are the ones screaming iyo crying..
