NFD is getting lawless with reports of the kidnapping inside the camp which is allegedly secured by the Kenya authorities. There was a blast in Wajir which destroyed a market.

If the kidnappers are able to evade the KDF and make it to Shababistan, the four victims are done for.

I'm wondering if these incidents happen because the Kenyan authorities can't tame the place or is it just a chronic problem.

Those idiots,whomever they are,dont realize how many desperate and hungry people in that land locked place rely on aid.

What authorities ? Dadaab is an independent territory run by ruthless gangs. The kenyans are attacked every week. They have basically ceded the area to shifta/AS.

If I was an advisor to the Kenyan Government, I would tell them, avoid upsetting the "Waryaas" at all cost...we are insync with them about Al-Shabaab other than that, keep the "Waryaas" happy

Once Al-Shabaab gets uprooted from Somalia, the chances of them stirring trouble in Kenya will be minimal. It will be pointless for them to plot attacks there....

It is Somalis suffering in both wars.

The last thing I wanna see is Kenya sliding into chaos. And yes, our poor people are suffering both sides. However, this country is fighting with the most ruthless group in Somali history and it should''ve prepared itself before the invasion. Also, this stagnation should end one way or another. Kenya should make changes on the ground or retreat. Maybe they should hire the Ethiopians to do the dirty war for them.

Let the get a nice slap or two so that they think twice about any future invasion. I used to laugh at the Kenyans I used to chill with in Nairobi saying that the kDF wouldn't make it to Kismayo by Christmas 2011. I won
