Puntland government to launch development projects in Hafun

Hafun(Puntlandi)—Hafun, a romote district in eastern Puntland is receiving first development projects from Puntland Government, Puntlandi learns.

Puntland Deputy agriculture minister Burhan Elmi Hersi along with Puntland delegation visited the district to evaluate living standard and to implement development projects.

Projects that Puntland would implement in Hafun include building a new dam where both people and livestock will utilize it.

Puntland delegation have several times visited Hafun and surrounding suburbs to monitor the possible projects to be implemented Hafun and neighboring areas.

Deputy Minister told Puntlandi news media, government will help local people to make district council who will help the district and its people to acquire a well living standard.

Meanwhile the government will establish microfinance program that local people will be receiving grant aid to boosting their economy and way of living.
