Various reasons are behind these talks, on one side its a new political engagement for the macvillain sheikh to win the isaaq and dir votes in the coming election and for silanyo its a change of political direction to be inclusive and a key player in the south and patrake in the making of the next leader of somalia so he can sit down with him and he started using his tfg clan instead of chasing them but, who will laught last?

it doesn't say they will join them, All you need is to change the politics of the south. Nothing immediately happens. If sharif gets reelected he will appoint an isaaq pm with a plan to carry and connect what's important to silanyo.
