No xamar will never be violent again only if foreigners invade it and thats unlikely imam the People of Mogadisho have seen what war does they are now busy with rebuilding their city. The islamic courts union were great but the west destroyed them using Somalis Ethiopians and others. Dagaal wala arkay hada wa nabad.

like mcali said, anything is possible. There are many entities who love nothing more than the status quo, and would do anything for things to remain so. The chances of them succeeding is high. FYI, al-Shabaab isn't one of those entities.

One could only hope and pray that, our brothers and sisters in Mogadiscio, or any other region within the Somali peninsula for that matter, never, again, experience violence and utter mayhem, on such a scale. Amin.
