Kooyaame(in Somali) is a island/jasiiraad it is the same as Koyama(in English) i believe. Thus it is one of the Bajuni islands.

SOM1960 the article dating back to 2009 said 42km, 42km south of Kismaayo is the southern part of the Kooyaame island and surrounding area. We will await a future map/sources for confirmation.
